Product Description Bones REDS were developed to be an affordable alternative to Bones Swiss. This combination of Skate Rated design, quality components and careful quality control makes them faster, smoother and longer lasting than any other skateboard bearing in their price range, so let the good times roll with Bones REDS.Features:-Includes set of 8 bearings, pre-lubed with Speed Cream, instructions and a sticker-Easy cleaning and relubricating-Removable high speed nylon ball cage-Non-contact, removable rubber shield-Bones Skate Rated Design and QualityNote: All Bones Bearings are Skate Rated to withstand the destructive forces created by high performance skating. This is Powell's way of saying that just using a bearing with an ABEC rating is not enough to ensure that a bearing will perform well for skating, since ABEC ratings were intended for electric motor bearings, not skate bearings. Powell has adjusted the tolerances, clearances, lubricant, and component materials to optimize Bones Bearings for use in dirty, high impact environments where you skate. That's why they roll faster and last longer than mere ABEC rated bearings.

if you don't know, you better ask somebody July 14, 2006 Paroxetine (Hollis, NY USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
i don't know why other companies even bother making cheap abec 5 bearings. everybody i know who can't afford swiss joints get these bearing. to be a competitor of bones in the cheap abec 5 bearings market is like fanta trying to get in on sunkist's orange soda game. it just aint' gonna happen dude. these things are so good and so cheap that I bought a bearings cleaner and cleaning solution, got home, looked a the receipt and realized that the money I spent on this cleaner and solution, I could've bought 2 new sets of bones reds. get these!
Nuttin better than the best June 29, 2007 Bre J. Smith (Hardy AR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently got my first really good skateboard. I've been skating since Oct. 2006. I bought my board on a site that lets you pick out everything for the board (deck, wheels, griptape, trucks, hardware, bearings), and then they assemble it for u free and ship it low cost. When I was looking for some good, but still inexpensive bearings to buy, I noticed that the Reds bearings had about 75 reviews, when most others had none. Everyone loved them. Now that I have my board, I love them as well. They make a ride smoother, even, and way way faster. The price on here is fairly good too. If you need any info you can leave me a post or email me.

These bearings are so totally awsome. The price is cheap too if your looking for high quality affordable bearings.I took these bearings for a ride at the skatepark and could ride higher on ramps than ever before.these bearings are great.
Great for the Price and for Longboarding July 12, 2008 H. Hovenga (Colorado Springs, CO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These bearings are probably the best you can get for the price. I bought these for my longboard because the stock ones were awful. Obviously there are better ones out there but these are the best deal. Great for the low budget skater, they roll very smoothly, and they are durable for those rough sliding days. I give them a five just because of what you get for the price
Easily best value for the money December 14, 2006 GameboyRMH I have these on my board now. They're cheap and they roll silky smooth, when you feel how your board rides with these you'll be amazed. If you need some extra incentive, the bearings have red sides that look cool and they come with a sticker :P
