Powell G-Bones! Good wheels!June 16, 2008 SambonerocknrollMF(Norfolk, Verginya USA!) Powell G-bones: I just skated these today, Wednesday, June 11, 2008. They slide very good! They didn't seem to roll that fast though. I may have to lube 'em up! I have the Reds/FKD's in them. I'm happy I can do some powerslides again!
UPDATE: 061508: I've been able to do some good powerslides with these wheels! It's really cool and fun!!! The bad thing is that these wheels just don't seem to have alotta speed. I don't know if they are designed for speed!??!!??! I love the wheels to death, but I can't get any speed outta them! I'd gotten some advice about using spacers between the bearings which I haven't done since the 80's. Back then, I didn't know the importance for them either! Well, I was told that it helps keep the bearings in line with the axle it's on on the trucks! And it's suppose to aid in a smoother ride. So I took the advice. I just haven't tested the deck yet. I will this week though and have another update!!! [...]
