Good grip tape overall.May 12, 2008 T. Hill The grip tape itself I love. This was not the first time using this grip tape. I once bought it from a local store in town and the sheet was great. What I did not like about buying these three grip tape sheets through TGM Skateboards was the packaging. When rolling up the three sheets together it bent the paper backing that the grip tape is stuck to which created air pockets underneath the paper. The air pockets, which some where large and from one side to the other tended to make the grip tape more dry and seemed less sticky to the touch. But I had applied all three of the grip tapes to three decks and all seemed to work great. One of the three boards is now snapped and the grip tape gone, but the other two still on great and no spots ripping or unstuck.
All purchasing Black Diamond clear grip tape always has been successful as buying the regular Black Diamond grip tape. I love applying the clear grip tape to decks with wood tops and once on you can really see the wood grain through the tape.
