Product Description Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings (SS6) are fundamentally different from our famous Bones Swiss. Super Swiss have 6, 3/16 inch balls instead of 7, 5/32 inch balls. Thus, the SS6 balls are 20% larger and roll fewer times to go the same distance. Like bigger wheels on a car, they create less rolling friction and have a higher top speed. SS6's special design and Swiss quality materials enable it to accelerate quicker, roll faster, and resist the impact of skate trick landings better than standard designs.Features:-Includes set of 8 bearings, pre-lubed with Speed Cream, 4 bearing spacers, instructions, and a sticker -Six ball design is stronger -Faster roll, quicker acceleration -Removable high speed nylon ball cage -Non-contact, removable rubber shieldNote: All Bones Bearings are Skate Rated to withstand the destructive forces created by high performance skating. This is Powell's way of saying that just using a bearing with an ABEC rating is not enough to ensure that a bearing will perform well for skating, since ABEC ratings wereintended for electric motor bearings, not skate bearings. Powell has adjusted the tolerances, clearances, lubricant, and component materials to optimize Bones Bearings for use in dirty, high impact environments - where you skate. That's why they roll faster and last longer than mere ABEC rated bearings.

Best Bang For Your Buck Bearings Period. January 19, 2007 John R. Moritz (Venice, CA Dogtown USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have been skateboarding for over 30 years and I own 14 skateboards (12 are longboards-I'm 43 after all!) I'm in the process of converting ALL my boards to these bearings. So far I have 8 boards with these bearings and I could not be happier. They are fast and durable and less than half the cost of ceramics. I'm not aware of any bearings that come anywhere close to matching these in terms of performance and value. Don't waste a $100 on ceramics-GET THESE.
Great Bearings January 15, 2007 Robert Merrill (Austin, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are really great bearings. Much faster than the conventional abec-7's I was using.
Nice and smooth March 27, 2007 Michael Smith (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have some of the regular bones swiss bearings and these feel faster. I would recommend them.
Best bearings ever, and the best price here at Amazon! February 28, 2007 A. Bensko 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I already have a set of standard Bones Swiss, but since I was putting together a longboard with smaller wheels, I decided to get slightly faster bearings to make up for it. These definately firt the bill, and the with the cheap $35.00 price and free shipping that Amazon offers, you can't go wrong. These may seem dissappointing at first, but after about 3-5 hours of riding, they'll break in and go very fast. Overall very reccomendable to anyone in the skateboard world.
The best you can get besides ceramics August 7, 2006 Oliza (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wow... when I first bought these bearings I knew what I was after. All my friends that skate and everyone I know uses Bones. No wonder it doesn't have any reviews... cause it doesn't need one. If you take good care of them and clean them once a month or so they'll last you a long time and it also depends on how often you use your board, but anyways if your looking for really good bearings for a decent price than these are the way to go.
