A Number of top notch skateboarders emerged from the proving grounds of Southern California's Del Mar Skate Ranch, but not all boasted a personality to rival their skills. One that did was Jason Jessee. Admired far and wide for his colorful remarks and frontside ollies on vert, Jessee went pro for Santa Cruz Skateboards in 1987. Taking an inspirational nod from the tattoos on Jason's back, artist Jim Phillips put together the original "Neptune" graphic for this first pro model, which was then later redesigned in 1989 by Johnny "Mojo" Munnerlyn to reflect a more saltly sea god. Bring the history of skateboarding home with you. These authentic miniature retro fingerboards, feature real skateboard graphics from real skateboard companies from the 70s-90s in all of the authentic board shapes from back in the day.
