Don't believe the review by SW Snow...these Andy Mac completes easily compare to more expensive skateboards.Easily.At 44 I've been riding quite a long time,seen alot of changes in the industry,and have owned tons of different skateboarding products.Powell/Skateone...the makers of Andy Mac products have consistently put out great skating products for 30 yrs.I recently purchased the FIST complete at the ridiculously low price..arrived quickly,skated fantastic right out of the box!All componets were top notch,and the quality of deck was outstanding.There are alot of other more expensive choices out there...but for the money...this is a great value.Full of pop,trucks grinded and turned easily,wheels and bearings smooth and fast.I'm 200 lbs and deck had no flex at all!Feel secure when buying this complete that you are getting a quality product!

Did some looking into as to what skateboard I should first purchase for myself. Found a review telling me that the "Andy Mac Zon" skateboard was a good entry choice for half the price of a pro grade skateboard. So I purchased the "Andy Mac Fist" skateboard (don't know if the two are really any different). I found it to be great till about no more than a month later when I noticed that one of my trucks cracked near the kingpin area. Kept on riding it for a bit, practicing Ollies until a few days after that the truck cracked completely at 3 places (i.e. it was destroyed!) Again the rest of the skateboard was great, it was just dissapointing that the truck went out on me so quickly. Looking at the material of the truck, it appeared to be made from pretty weak metal. Therefore from my experience, and my experience alone!--although I love what Andy Mac is all about (for the kids!)--I myself did not have the best experience with this skateboard. If I could do it all over again, I would have just gone with the pro grade stuff from the getgo.

The above review is so typical of guys like Andy Mac and the others that put out garbage entry level skateboards like this one. I have been skating longer then Andymac has been askig his Mom for his babybottle. Am I a Pro, no, but can I see when someone is trying to sell garbage to unsuspecting consumers; yes!
It is sad to see guys like Andymac who are fair skaters put out garbage w/o any concern for the kids that are buying these things. (especially if you have ever ridden on a board and had the trucks break while you are riding, like the above guys story.)
But, this is typical of what guys like AM are like, they don't give a S%&7 about these poor kids, and are all about making money! Don't believe me, watch MTV's Cribs and see how many pro skateboarders you see these days! Guys like Bam Margera, or Eric Koston and even little ol' Ryan Suckler, these guys honestly do not care about your kids, and all they really care about is marketing! It is the biggest joke that these guys are seen on Cribs!(Well cribs is pretty stupid anyways!)
But if you look back at the old days before it was about selling your soul instead of skating, there were guys like Tony Hawk, and Steve Caballero Duane Peters and guys like that! they may have sold a few boards and they may have made some money, but they weren't selling evey article of clothing and putting their name on anything they could find. Ok, maybe Tony was, but that was after skaiting took a dive, back when most people don't remember skaters. But if you look at these guys now, they are in their 40's and still skating, and skating because the love to skate, not so they can be like AndyMmac and sell cheap Garbage to kids, so he can buy a bigger house.
The gist here, if your going to buy a board for your kid, take the time to think about what you're buying, I mean you wouldn't buy a helmet made from a McDonalds paper cup would you? So why buy an Andy Mac board that he would never ever step on let alone ride, and think your kid might be safe.
(P.S. I am not sure if Andymac has kids, and I don't care, but if he did, do you honestly think this is the board he would put his kid on, do you he would feel safe with a little mac jr riding one of these? Likely not!)
