This is a great helmet. I bought the small size for my 6 year old. It has a rubberized exterior and kind of a stone-washed look to it. It fits him nicely and isn't too heavy for his head. I'm happy with the purchase & feel more at ease with this quality product for his head.
My son thought it looked cool and said it felt great on his head. Now, my 11 year old wants one too.
There are lots of products out there and most of the helmets are cheap made with lots of plastic. This is not one of those. If your child's head hits the ground, you will want him/her wearing this helmet. You won't be dissatisfied buying it.
